2023 Recent Activity:

• Participation in annual Grant Writing Workshop on Oct 21, 2023

• Provided support on at least 8 KY INBRE and NIH grant proposals from regional investigators

• Completed projects for analyses and/or manuscript publication for at least seven investigators from five regional universities

Upcoming Plans:

• Spring 2024 Visits to regional universities

• Training graduate students in collaborative statistics

• Continued support for R15/R16 applications

• Continued support for data analyses for investigators from regional universities, UL, and UK

Mentoring and training are key in the organizational model of the PADS Hub. For some requests, statistics graduate students are partnered with an experienced faculty/staff member who mentors the student through all stages of the project.  On occasion, an experienced graduate student who has completed a masters degree in statistics is paired with graduate student in training to carry out project requests.
