Welcome to Kentucky IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (KY INBRE)!

The KY INBRE (formerly KBRIN) is a collaborative network of biomedical researchers in state-supported and independent institutions of higher education within Kentucky and is funded through a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). Our website is packed with information to help biomedical researchers throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Subscribe to our weekly newsletter for more up-to-date information!

This grant (#5P20GM103436) has been funded by the NIH NIGMS awarded to University of Louisville as the lead institution.
Dr. Martha Bickford, Program Director/Principal Investigator.

Now that our renewal has been sent to NIH, we are revising our website to match the items in the proposal. We’re hoping you’ll find the new revisions an improvement to our website and program. Feel free to reach out to our Communications Director Cyndy Buckhaults with questions, comments, suggestions, etc.!
